This 5-day classroom-based course provides the fundamental networking skills required to deploy and support Windows Server 2016 in most organizations. It covers IP fundamentals, remote access technologies, and more advanced content including Software Defined Networking.

In addition to professional experience, participants should have the following technical knowledge:

  • Experience working with Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2012
  • Experience working with a Windows Server enterprise infrastructure
  • Knowledge of the OSIC model Integration of the principles of networks, components and technologies including wiring, switches and switches
  • Knowledge of network topologies and architectures, such as LANs, WANs and wireless networks
  • TCP / IP knowledge, name resolution and logical addressing
